Deborah Linnartz Wigington, Attorney at Law

Deborah Linnartz Wigington was born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas. She graduated from Canyon High School and received her BBA from Southwest Texas State University.

She received her Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School in 2002 and was licensed to practice the same year.

After five years experience as an associate with a law firm, she moved back home to New Braunfels to open her own firm.

Jessica Trussell

Jessica Trussell, Attorney at Law

Jessica Trussell graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Political Science in 2013. She completed her juris doctorate at Baylor Law School in 2016 with a concentration in criminal law and passed the bar the same year. While in law school, Jessica interned with the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, Travis County District Attorney’s Office and a Waco criminal defense attorney. At the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, Jessica assisted in the Crimes Against Children division, which handles family abuse, sexual assault, and crimes against children and she focused on intimate partner crimes with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office. Jessica has been a volunteer with National Adoption Day and the Baylor Law Immigration Clinic. Jessica is trained in legal writing, alternative dispute resolution, and advance trial preparation and is now applying her dedication to families and children to her family law cases within the firm.

John Garcia

John Garcia, Legal Assistant

John Garcia is currently a student at Texas State University in San Marcos with a goal of pursuing a juris doctorate following graduation. John stays heavily involved in university operations. He is member of several boards and review panels including the Student Conduct Review Board, the Student Organization Review Committee, and the President’s Cabinet. He also serves as the Chief Justice of the Texas State University Student Government Supreme Court overseeing the Judicial Branch of student government. John is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, an academic Pre-Law Fraternity.
