WebJul 14, 2024 · I am simply trying to assign my x55 HOTAS. And it's totally FUBAR!! I go to my Settings\Controls\Controls Setup Wizard. I select the Saitek x55 Profile, and click Select Layout. And it doesn't save the selection. When I fly my controls dont' work at all. When I go back into the "Wizard" it is set to 'Custom controls' again! WebFirst of all you'll want to identify the different controllers that you have connected to your machine. Go to Control Panel -> Devices and Printers. Just double click the control you want in DCS and then click the button on the X56 that you want to perform that command (Buttons on the joystick/throttle do NOT have to be associated with a keyboard key).
