WebJun 24, 2024 · I was wondering whether there is an efficient way to retrieve the children of a given commit. Although a method was discussed in Referencing the child of a commit in Git, it is very inefficient. I thought this would be a straightforward thing to be done in Git, but apparently, it is not. Web27. You want to bring changes from development branch to feature branch. So first switch to feature branch and merge development branch into it. In case you want the commits from develop branch too, use the non fast forward merge --no-ff approach. Else do not use --no-ff. git checkout feature git merge --no-ff develop.
