This ‘pigeon-toed’ effect results in scuffing on the outside edge of the tyre tread, which can make the tread blocks look a bit like teeth on a saw blade. If you run larger tires, toe is better for steering. easier to steer heavy tires with toe in rather than out. Also I learned the hard way but if winching with more toe out, and if your front end squats too much, you can easily snap a tie rod.
